Spot on about John Smeaton and the other guys who tackled the half-wits at Glasgow Airport, they make you really proud to be Scottish Just one wee observation if you'll allow....right now there are loads of wee Welsh, Irish and ENGLISH punters also puttin their lives on the line against the Al-Queda et al in Afghanistan and Iraq with HM Forces...isnt it a real shame that they are not treated as heroes (like John Smeaton fully deserves to be) Also you cant be accused of having a downer on the yanks....taking the piss out of everyone and especially ourselves is just the scots way...besides they also have their own heroes such as the guys on Flight 93 who overwhelmed the hijackers but gave their lives doing so to save others just discovered your blog tonight mate….brilliant…your weegie/ yankee translations were reminiscent of Stanley Baxter’s Parliamo Glasgow.
